DECLARATION OF REPERTOIRE METADATA
The music repertoire is for SCF the primary source for the identification and allocation of royalties. An updated and complete database allows a correct and timely identification of the usage of a member’s repertoire.
The record companies can upload and update their repertoire through a user-friendly web interface, which allows to declare metadata of all albums and tracks.
It is possible to upload repertoire massively, by using a worksheet in .xls format. This mode is especially useful for companies, which need to deal with a large number of metadata.

The playback (or musical base) is the original or remastered sound recording used to boost the vocal interpretation of an artist in television shows.
Videoclips are sequences of moving images synchronised with sound recordings.
Among the licenses managed by SCF, those issued for national and satellite television broadcasting (RAI, RTI-Mediaset, LA7, SKY) are particularly relevant. These agreements require the declaration of the musical bases and videos used by members.
