Unclaimed royalties

SCF makes available to all record producers the lists containing the tracks for which no ownership has been claimed.

Correct attribution of credits for the exploitation of musical repertoire is the main way to distribute fair compensation (neighbouring rights) to the rights holders.

Fair distribution reflects the actual use by all those who broadcast recorded music in public.

Claiming ownership

If you are a member of SCF

Send an Excel list that shows the following:

  • The codes of the tracks in the playlists you want to recognise (IDBRANO)
  • The codes of the tracks you own (IDREGISTRAZIONE) in the katalegale platform.

SCF mandate procedure

If you have not granted a mandate to SCF

To proceed with the matching of the uses contained in the lists of unclaimed ownership and the recordings in your catalogue, send an excel file with the IDBRANOs correlated to the identification data of the recording.

For producers associated with Afi, Audiocoop, ItsRight, Evolution or Getsound, the collecting society claims the tracks on behalf of the producer.
