Amateur: aimed at those who make radio for passion, without profit and without advertising
Institutional: dedicated to schools, universities, public bodies, parties, associations or religious groups, to promote their cultural activities without profit
Commercial: for those who want to make web radio or web TV a professional activity, or to make their website or apps more engaging for their customers.

Italian Law 633/1941 and the Directives of the European Union recognise the right of record producers and artists to receive fair compensation for making the phonographic records they have produced and/or performed available to the public.
Over 350 websites hosting Web Radio or Web TV have chosen to broadcast quality music in compliance with the rights of record producers and artists.
SCF offers the opportunity to use the original recordings of over 400 record labels legally, allowing you to enrich your programming.
SCF licences authorise:
- the making available of phonograms and music videos on the website through web radio and/or web TV organised in a continuous stream
- the technical copying of musical recordings so that you can organise and develop your programming.
The possibility of making content available on-demand is excluded. For this option, SCF issues specific licence agreements, where possible.
To broadcast music from the repertoire represented by SCF, it is necessary to subscribe to the appropriate licences by contacting our offices.
Web Radio Licence Agreements
- Amateur Web Radio: created for the sole purpose of sharing with end users the interest in music in general or for particular repertoires, without any advertising and characterised by the absence of any direct or indirect profit motive.
- Institutional Web Radio: created by organisations such as universities, political parties, religious groups, etc.
- Commercial Web Radio: associated with websites of companies that produce goods or provide services, or with the sale of advertising space, or with paid access.
Web TV Licence Agreements
- Web TV Audio only: to add value to television programming.
- Web TV Audio & Music videos: to offer a complete and engaging musical experience.
Podcast and Vodcast
To offer listeners the best of the programming at any time, integrate the SCF licence with the PODCAST and/or VODCAST licences. The two licences allow you to listen to and/or view the programs broadcast, on demand, via the website.
