In 1996 he was appointed Secretary General of FPM, the Federation against Music Piracy.
He chairs the Intellectual Property Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.
A graduate in Political Science, he began his career as a press officer at a major bank and after an experience in a public relations agency, he became the Italian representative of BSA (Business Software Alliance), the world association of software producers.
